Join us as we celebrate World Rhino Week, September 16- 22, 2024.
Have you ever wanted to get close and personal with a friendly rhino? Talk to an animal care specialist about what it takes to care for rhinos? Would you like to take a selfie with a rhino or see the custom crates we use to transport our rhinos safely?Now you can! You can help southern white rhinos in the wild by booking a once-in-a-lifetime behind-the-scenes encounter with our white rhino herd!
Includes:
- Full-day admission to Virginia Safari Park
- 30-minute tour with meet and greet with up to five of our rhinos
- Treats to feed the rhino
- Touch time with the rhino
- Rhino Complex tour
- A painting completed by our rhinos
Tour participants will be picked up at the Safari Trading Post Gift Shop and transported to the Rhino Complex. Participants will then journey to the Rhino Complex to tour the rhino barn, transport crates, and spend time visiting and feeding the rhinos treats. Your guide will give you one-on-one time with the rhinos, teach you about these endangered animals, answer your questions, and give you the opportunity for selfies with a keeper and the rhino!
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to rhino conservation.
